Microsoft Introduces Unique Platform “Viva”: Microsoft has introduced a new platform, Viva, which aims to help avoid complications while working from home.
“We are currently experiencing the greatest experience of working from home in the world,” said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.
“People have been working from home for months during the Coronavirus epidemic and now the situation is improving, but it is not possible to return to offices soon,” he said.
MicrosoftViva is not an app or a service but a platform aimed at improving the working conditions at home and helping businesses adapt to these conditions.
Microsoft believes that this platform will help companies adapt to the new digital position.
Gerard Spataro, head of Microsoft 365, said: “We need to stop thinking about this office space and think about how employees can be connected and human potential can be harnessed in a new hybrid world.” ۔
He predicted at the outset of the epidemic that office activities and education would change forever, and Microsoft Viva was designed with that in mind.
It integrates Microsoft Teams and Works and is divided into 4 modules in total: Connections, Insights, Topics, and Learning.
Viva is built on Microsoft’s SharePoint technology and will include various features such as company news, town halls or employee resource groups, and communities.
It’s basically a dashboard that connects office staff to each other while away.
This platform has been partially introduced and will be updated in the coming months.
The platform is available to Microsoft 365 users and will continue to expand in 2021.
