Oppo Wireless Charging Technology [10 cm Distance]
Oppo Wireless Charging Technology [10 cm Distance]: Oppo has introduced a new wireless charging technology that can charge a smartphone from a distance of 10 cm.
The company demonstrated wireless air charging technology at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai.
For this purpose, a 30-second video was played on the Chinese social media site Weibo.
This video shows Oppo’s concept rollable X2021 phone which was announced in November 2020.
The phone was shown charging 10 cm from the charging pad and according to the company, the technology can charge the device at a speed of 7.5 watts.
Oppo is not the first company to demonstrate such wireless air charging technology, as Xiaomi and Motorola have introduced similar technologies earlier this year.

In January 2021, Xiaomi announced the introduction of the May Air Charge technology, which is capable of charging multiple devices simultaneously from a distance of several meters at a speed of 5 watts.
The next day, Motorola demonstrated the phone jogging from a distance of 100 meters.
According to Oppo, virus air charging technology delivers 7.5 watts of power using magnetic resonance.
It’s not as impressive as Xiaomi’s Mi Air charge, which uses a millimeter VVRF, but Xiaomi’s technology may require a more expensive charging station.
Xiaomi has confirmed that its technology will not be released for commercial use this year, while Oppo also did not say when the technology and its concept phone would be introduced.
With such new technologies, companies are also working to make traditional wireless charging faster.
Xiaomi is working on 80-watt wireless charging support while Oppo has introduced 65-watt wireless charging technology.
