Why TikTok Banned In Pakistan?: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) blocked the leading short video sharing application ‘TikTok’ again.
According to the PTA statement, the authority of the relevant provisions of the Provision of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 has blocked access to the TikTok app and website in the country.
The statement said that this action is due to failure to prevent the permanent presence of inappropriate content and the content of the platform.

It is clear that this year on June 28, the Sindh High Court banned a tuck on a citizen’s request, against which the PTA filed a variety of requests.
The PTA adopted the court in front of the court that the PTA has to decide on the request of the complainant, after the decision, the petitioner can refer to Sindh High Court.
He said we were not heard our stand at the time of the decision.
Later, the High Court had returned the ban on the PTA petitioning petitions soon took the restoration of the ban on TikTok.
Earlier this year, the Peshawar High Court also ordered to close the TikTok due to the presence of immoral material.
After judicial orders, TikTok was closed immediately and the short video sharing application was closed for some days.
Due to the presence of non-moral material, the PTA also closed the TikTok to the country in October 2020, before the PTA issued a notice to remove porn content to the application administration.
Later the TikTok Administration claimed to remove millions of inappropriate content videos, after which the PTA restored TikTok’s service.
In March 2021, TikTok’s service was suspended on the Peshawar High Court’s order for 10 days, later the claims of removing porn videos from the TikTok Administration were restored in April.
