Why do Indian Politicians Consider singer Rihanna as Pakistani?: Indian politicians and some people are angry at the famous pop singer Rihanna, 32, from the North American Caribbean country of Barbados, and even consider her a Pakistani.

Rihanna is mostly considered a Pakistani by leaders and activists of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but some see her as a Pakistani even after seeing a fake photo with her name and her Pakistani flag.

Indians were furious with the Barbados singer and considered her a Pakistani agent when she tweeted briefly about the ongoing farmers’ protests in India on February 3.

On February 3, Rihanna shared a link to CNN’s news about the Indian farmers’ protest, saying, “Why aren’t we talking about this?”

In just one line of Rihanna, not only Indian politicians got angry but also the government and the people there felt bad that the singer supported the farmers’ protests, even though the singer did not write anything in support or opposition to anyone.

Rihanna has more than 100 million followers on Twitter and is one of the most popular singers in the world, followed by leading politicians, policymakers, legislators, and leaders of global organizations.

After Rihanna’s tweet, while other personalities, including Indian actress Kangana Ranaut, responded to her tweet and called her a foreign agent, Indian politicians also presented her as a Pakistani.

Rihanna was also considered a Pakistani by BJP workers and narrow-minded Hindus when a fake photo of her with the Pakistani flag went viral on social media.

According to the website BoomLive, BJP leaders edited Rihanna’s old photo and handed her the Pakistani flag. After her photo was shared on social media, it went viral and people began to consider her Pakistani.

Seeing the fake picture of Rihanna with the Pakistani flag by the important political leaders, the common people also started considering her as Pakistani.

When the Barbados singer was considered a Pakistani, Twitter handle, the biggest supporter of the peasant movement, had to explain that she is not a Pakistani singer.

The photo of Rihanna that was edited was initially shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and by the singer herself during the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

In the original photo of Rihanna, she can be seen with the West Indies flag and she went to watch a cricket match to cheer on her team, and on the same occasion, she shared the photo.

However, her old photo was edited by the Indians and given to her by the Pakistani flag, on which many people thought that she was really a Pakistani singer or a Pakistani agent.

Coincidentally, Javed Afridi, the owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Peshawar Zalmai, also tweeted about Rihanna in view of the opposition to Rihanna in India.
